From promo videos to executive live streams

Before I begin to tackle an event or recording, first step is to understand the client and the audience. Then discuss how the presenter envisions the event. Once I have all the info, I create rough technical map/blueprint of all the audio and video equipment. This initial stage is time consuming but makes it easier to know exactly where each wire goes.

Gather all the digital ingredients based on the blueprint.

Aside from the hardware side, I was also responsible for creating pre-show/outro animations, lower-third graphics, and more.

Then, test, test, test and test some more before the big event. This is a step that cannot be skipped.

And in 3, 2, 1…

Action!

I am fortunate enough to have done hundreds of live streams and broadcast events. Even with COVID19, since our team couldn’t produce live events in person, I had to find new ways to make it happen in the virtual world.
