“Nobody wants to play with me…” Is a story about a young boy dealing with family member loss, he feels like he is alone but he is not.
Frist step was to work with the author, go over each section and pencil sketch the illustrations before cleaning/inking.
Next, character development. The author wanted a multi-ethnic family.
The background color of each page reflected an emotion of the child.
A discussion page was also created for the young readers to express/understand the book’s various emotions.
